Former PwC chief executive Luke Sayers has finished giving evidence to the Senate’s inquiry into the tax leaks scandal, which probed his leadership of the firm, dealings with the ATO, and accountability. When he was the CEO, Sayers considered splitting up PwC Australia, in part because he was concerned about conflicts of interest.PwC Australia’s values were exported to the global firm, prompting Greens Senator Barbara Pocock to declare she was “astonished”.
