SkinnerPm How can u not know?! Oh too busy making dumb food.

Money doesn’t buy that out. You knew since the beginning.

Ooooooo. $11M to make up fo being guilty of war crimes & atrocities. Could ya make it 12? Cuz 6M perished. That’s $ 1.38M per million. Christ ... even their creepy family spokesman looks like a Nazi!

And there is still a lot of antisemitism in the world today. I can promise those who lost loved ones in the Holocaust won't be supporting these companies

Please donate me the rest of my large Mac from Panera seeing how they always come a quarter full....

'Discovery' or expose? What, they didn't know about their Nazi relatives?

Like my grandad forgot to tell me who was in a labour camp and his 6 year old daughter froze to death during Transport to Siberia. PR damage control! Disgrace

Panera slaps imma still eat it

They are worth 19 billions. 11 millions is pocket change.

Donate another 18 billion and you can have my fucken sympathy

Well that’s sweet of them

Bravo.

0.01% of their net worth...and you think this is worthwhile enough to give them positive press? What a fucking joke.

What they should do, is donate all their wealth to israel

What about Firestone? Firestone funded a warlord in Africa responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths in Liberia and recruiting child soldiers. This was in the 90s.

What about the companies with a not so secret Nazi past?

bolognahead 😐

Is this true ?

How does a donation excuse your past or erase your family history

Even the ancestors of nazis dislike nazis more than the Trump Administration.

I’m still eating this shit

Donating to whom?

I am done buying panera stuff.

Never trusted Panera 👿

'Discovery' my arse. Like they just 'discovered' their parents had businesses in 1930s Nazi Germany. What a joke

What does America get in reparations after the Democrats are outed?

Will the lib fascists boycott a company that has Nazi origin? They can't pay off their guilt.

I’m in favor of voluntary reparations. noboycotthere

hmccreary oKK...K? 11 million lol... that might have been ok when they were selling boxes for $5 a pop 😂 greedy sons of bitchs

is that a down payment on the full donation or

AMAZING!! ❤️❤️ Now the trick is making sure that EVERY SINGLE PENNY of that money goes DIRECTLY where it’s intended. What is the guarantee.....Needs to be monitored!!!

Donating less than 0.3% of the wealth gained through murder and slavery...so big of them. 🙄

Could have sworn this was popcorn.

I thought all along that krispykreme is an American donut. Pwheeeee.

How about they give raises to their employees that aren't making a livable wage. They practice modern day indentured servitude.

11 million is about $100 to these people. Pathetic gesture. Not impressed.

$11 mil? Lol. Hardly enough, too many decades later

I wonder when the Bush family will pony up their share?

Krispy Kreme and Panera is cancelled for good in my book. BYE assholes.

BMW and Porsche did the same thing

Thank you for reporting this story. I will be boycotting these companies from now on. I don’t care about their using money to express ‘forgiveness’.

To WHO AND WHERE?

romegeorgiaman3 Krispy kreme did not originate in Germany

What so less than a weeks' taking then. That's really generous.

Behind every fortune lies a crime.

Uh, so good for them?

These headlines are hilarious.

This corporate monster should be donating BILLIONS not millions as reparation. It is been seven decades since the nazi regime they lavishly supported has been ended. They are paying now because of the articles that first appeared last year.

signif_shrink

MsMariaT Dunkin tastes better than overhyped Krispy ever did anyway.

So that's like someone with a net worth of $1m making a donation of $600. Cute 🙄

That's nothing. 11m is pennies to them

They got caught, so they are are donating 11 million dollars. How pathetic is that?

Honestly, as long as it's in the past idgaf. Dont blame sons for the sins of their fathers.

Piss in the bucket. They can afford alot more than that.

If you buy Volkswagen you are lowkey a white supremacist

$11 million from them is about equivalent to $11 from me

$11,000,000 TAX WRITE OFF and GET A BOOK DEAL TOO!!!

Only donating because they have been found out.

Wait. We didn’t know this about their Nazi past before now...but THEY DID. For decades. Why are they only just now making large charitable contributions? There’s a nasty smell of “Shit. We can’t get away with it any longer. Take cover and fire up the money cannon!!”

For you to call them 'secretive' is a really sinister ploy. These people had nothing to do with what their grandparents did yet they are attempting to make ammends for it and you try to make it sound like this is something less than a grand gesture, which is what this is.

Would they have donated anything if their past had not been discovered? 🤔

Discovery? Seriously? You don't 'discover' a secret/hidden nazi past. You discover a long lost ancestor, or you discover a buried treasure. You don't discover something so obvious as your grandad being a nazi in an age of information and freedom. nazi boycottkrispeykreme

Money solves everything kids.

i cant imagine a US company doing this. 😕

NaziDonuts

naziwashing

A lot of money was made by stripping Jewish people of their possessions and wealth too.

🤥 “after the discovery”🧐 KrispyKreme

Donuts... Nazis... there’s a cop joke in here, somewhere.

This is stupid. Unless the current owners Are nazis, this doesn’t do anything and nobody cares.

Dumb

BMW is a wealthy privately owned company and had strong ties to the Nazis. Where’s the story on them? Or are the MSM rich liberals driving BMW’s wanting to keep it quiet.

Here’s another reason for people to think they are butthurt.

You know they didnt have to donate. We're not responsible for our ancestors actions.

I ordered Panera for my going away lunch...dang it .

MrMalky Ouchies... May I have a box of 12 KK(K)s with delicious white supremacy icing sugar with sprinkles of defeat, please?

So a family worth $19 Billion is donating $11M? Big deal, that's the money they find in their couch cushions. Try donating $18 Billion.. Do we think the family can make it on $1 Billion?

Getting ahead of an even bigger story I see

JuanSaaa That should be $11 Million per family of those they enslaved. Then they can start “giving to charities.”

The only decent thing for humanity to do is stop supporting these businesses now

Here I was thinking nothing could surprise me this week.

Oh cool...you donated a small token amount of money, defs makes up for genocide

I hope certain people see this.

So, they are paying for a past that they knew nothing about, and that they had nothing to do with?

11 million out of 19 billion is less than most people who aren't Nazis spend on charity tbh

Wow seems like a lot to us normal people. To the 1% it represents 0.6% of their wealth. Equivalent to an average 35 yr old in America giving $250 to charity.

ruthellaowens Ugh...

Make up for the past, while working towards a better future. KrispyKreme PaneraBread

Soup Nazis

It’s probably nothing to them

They've known about the links since 1978. The founder and his son have been dead for 64 and 34 years, respectively.

I wonder if they'll include the American companies as well? Or what about those companies that wanted to oust a sitting president? Hmmm

The 🇺🇸 gov't only pretends to search for and capture Nazis. Any supposed Nazis that were found in 🇺🇸 and later prosecuted were done so for show. 🇺🇸 brought in MANY Nazis following WWII to work on behalf of the gov't.

That explains why I get sick thinking about going to either place. Something has always been off-putting about these businesses. Wir müssen radikal gegen Faschisten im eigenen Land vorgehen.

People should be concerned in saving the world.

Donating to what exactly?

Who cares

BI_RetailNews Oh because they just realised that they had links to the Nazis propaganda misinformation

A week’s profits? Come off it. If you said billion I’d be impressed. Per annum

I feel most of the people in this thread condemning the family for using slave labor are white Americans 🤔

All those American companies that did worst to African Americans would only offer an apology

virtue signal! i bet they knew all along and still hold nazi values. smh

So he donated 1 tenth of 1 percent of his net worth? That's like an everyday person giving 1 dollar to the homeless

Wtf I love Krispy Kreme now

WHO ARE THEY DONATI G MKNEY TOO

DIZCOVERY. BULLSHIT TBEY ALWAYS KNEW

Ffs can people stop shaming people and companies over shit their long dead relatives did in the past

This wont be settled until they apologize to Froggy Fresh

panerabread has the best broccoli cheese soup 🥣 ever. We don’t get to choose our ancestors, as far as I know there is no time machine that allows someone to change the past. Why the sudden uproar? Keep making good soup.

Hands up if you love KrispyKreme doughnuts

You guys are just bringing up a past that is at least two-three generations old by now. ENOUGH. They’re doing a good thing by donating, and now you want people to only focus on the word ‘Nazi’ and ‘Family’. Shame on you.

lmao 2019 is wild

That not a lot of money for huge company .

So sad to see so many attack them or say the donations worthless because of something they grandpa did. Fuck yall. Whats the fucking point of doing anything if people are only gonna judge me off what my dad did or my grandpa did.

Doesn't feel like much of a 'donation' to me...

JeffersonObama So, about $1 per jew, right?

“Clean food,” eh? Panera

So that’s what they did with all those ashes

Pennies compared to what they're worth, and a completely empty gesture from the offspring of monsters

The donation won’t get the blood off of their hands.
