Pharmaceutical companies will likely pursue tie-ups with biotech firms post-coronavirus due to their ability to develop novel treatments

Amazon Web Services' cloud capabilities — was previously able to develop a cancer vaccine in just 40 days. And the biotech's rapid development of a cancer vaccine underscores the promise of Moderna's approach to potentially develop a viable coronavirus vaccine — a development government officials have a deal to codevelop a vaccine.

The promise of the recent efforts of Moderna, BioNTech, and CureVac lie in their ability to rapidly develop a vaccine for novel diseases. And with the coronavirus growing into a pandemic, it's vital that a vaccine is developed and rolled out to the masses as expediently as possible.
