Germany is furious after 3 GOP senators threatened a small port with 'crushing' sanctions for helping Russian ships build a gas line across Europe

10 August 2020, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Sassnitz-Mukran: Pipes for the Nord Stream 2 Baltic Sea gas pipeline are stored on the premises of the port of Mukran near Sassnitz.Politicians in Berlin have reacted furiously to a letter from three Republican senators threatening sanctions on a small German port.

The letter threatened "crushing legal and economic sanctions" against the port if it did not "cease" to assist Russian vessels constructing Nord Stream 2. President Donald Trump opposes the pipeline as it believes Germany is already too reliant on Moscow for natural gas, and does not want Russia to expand its economic influence in Europe. In 2018, he said it could turn Germany into a "hostage of Russia,"On this particular disagreement with Berlin, he is backed by several Democrats as well as European countries like Poland and Slovakia.

Sen. Cruz and Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen last week announced a bill designed to expand sanctions to parties providing assistance with the Nord Stream 2 project.

Most punchable face, now in Germany, too.

More proof that Germany is still under US military occupation 75 years after the end of WW2. They have no rights under authoritarian rule from Imperial Washington.

Three thieves
