A by-election for the Bugaya state seat is on the cards following the death of its Warisan incumbent Manis Muka Mohd Darah. FMTNews

Deputy Chief Minister Bung Moktar Radin says Sabah should be allowed to decide its own political direction.

“You can tell Lim Guan Eng to let Sabah decide its own political direction,” he said, when contacted. “In those 60 days anything can happen … we don’t have to comment so much on Lim’s statement. He just has to take care of Penang.” He said Hajiji, who was infected with Covid-19 previously, would know the dangers posed by the virus following the Sabah election.
