This is as the company is to exit the Republic of Ireland market

As for the reasons why, Provident wrote on its website:"Over the years, we’ve been proud to help people who need a loan and can’t get one elsewhere.

In regards to Irish customers' debts, the company wrote:"If you’ve an outstanding balance on your Provident loan, we’ve some good news for you. "There are no more repayments to make to your Agent or Provident. This is because our loans business closes in Ireland on 1 July.
