has previewed its G800 business jet, on sale from next year. The instrumentation includes a record 10 touchscreen displays and there’s a pandemic-friendly plasma-ionising cabin ventilation system.This doesn’t recycle and refilter, and is claimed to neutralise 99.9 per cent of airborne bacteria. But the biggest news is the G800’s range, a new high mark for the company. It will fly 14,816 kilometres non-stop at Mach 0.85. That’s about 1050km/h.

The G800 maxes out at Mach 0.925. It transports up to 19 passengers and the cabin can be divided into up to four living areas. And the price?
