The Governor's Texas Economic Development office has a new website to help future and current business owners with advice.

"Now Texas has made it very easy to go online and to begin the process of figuring out where do I start," says Dave Cook Executive Director of theSince 2015, Matt Voeltner has been honing his skills as a wood worker and creating unique, custom pieces of all shapes and sizes. From custom cabinets to crawfish paddles, wine racks to cutting boards, Voeltner can make just about anything his imagination can dream up.

"In 2021, this country, because of COVID had an explosion of people being at home and wanting to start businesses," Cook explains.
