Irish tech unicorn has acquired point-of-sales firm Jinoby and is rolling out what it calls a complete restaurant management system

Flipdish, the Irish tech unicorn, is “getting closer to profitability,” its co-founder James McCarthy has said. He was speaking as the company announced a deal to acquire point-of-sales firm Jinoby for an undisclosed sum.

McCarthy said the deal marks a major expansion of the company’s product suite, as it launches Flipdish PoS, a new restaurant management system that incorporates Jinoby’s software platform with its own.
