- Aurubis, a leading global provider of non-ferrous metals and one of the largest copper recyclers worldwide, announced today it has updated its production facilities at the Pirdop copper smelter in Bulgaria with state-of-the-art technologies and executed additional improvements.
The company added that during the 40 days of the maintenance shutdown, more than 130 maintenance and repair activities were carried out in all the major production areas at the plant.
