The awards are a celebration of the remarkable partnerships between the business community and the arts, recognising their invaluable contribution to our society.The 26th annual Business and Arts South Africa Awards were hosted at the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa in the V&A Waterfront on Friday evening, celebrating the transformative partnerships between business and art.
"Cape Town is a really important place for us to be. There are so many brands and businesses just buzzing, so many creative and cultural entrepreneurs in the city, that we really wanted to strengthen our Cape Town footprint," BASA CEO Ashraf Johaardien told News24. Applause echoed through the room as winners from various categories walked the stage in celebration of multiple partnerships, 24 to be exact, that led to successful collaborative efforts maintained by business initiatives.
Jazz musician Mandla Mlangeni and electric violinist Kirsty Bows also entertained guests throughout the evening.
