Expedia — Shares surged 17% during midday trading Friday, a day after the vacation booking platform delivered a stronger-than-expected earnings report for the third quarter. Expedia posted adjusted earnings of $5.41 per share on $3.93 billion in revenue. Analysts polled by LSEG forecasted earnings of $4.93 per share and $3.86 billion in revenue. Apple — Shares dipped just shy of 1%.
