A top House Democrat alleges wrongdoing by two of the president's top advisers and family members.

A key House committee is probing for answers and documents into whether Ivanka Trump, the president’s daughter and senior adviser, and Jared Kushner, Ivanka’s husband and also a presidential adviser, may have wrongly conducted official White House business.

Last year, CNN reported that Kushner was communicating with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman through the encrypted texting app. According to the letter, Lowell said Kushner is in compliance with records preservation laws because he sends screenshots of his conversations to his White House email account.
