Ayon sa Novaliches Police, ang warrant of arrest ay inisyu ng Regional Trial Court Branch 83 sa Tanauan City, Batangas.“No comment na lang po. Sa court ko na lang po sasagutin ‘yung mga tanong na ‘yan,” saad ng suspek, na alam na may warrant of arrest laban sa kaniya. Ayon sa imbestigasyon ng PNP Anti-Kidnapping Group, Hulyo 19, 2022 nang may kikitain sana ang biktimang si Eduardo Tolosa sa Tagaytay.
