The company plans to leverage capabilities developed throughout its wide-ranging chip business to eventually produce a multiple system-on-chips for AVs; the device would incorporate Qualcomm's AI engines, camera image processors, digital signal processors, high performance CPUs for decision making, and GPUs for visualization.
