Business Plus magazine has been sold

Irish Daily Mail owner DMG Media Group has bought Business Plus magazine, marking a push into the business to business sector.

The value of the deal was not disclosed, but industry insiders said it was likely in the region of €500,000. Although the acquisition was largely agreed last September, it had to be approved by Irish competition authorities.and marketing director Siobhán O’Connell, who set up the magazine in 1997, will continue to lead the magazine and website under the new owners.

First on the agenda is a new website, which Mr Mulcahy said would be ready to go in a few weeks, with more content expected to go online as the company seeks to build market share in the B2B space.
