Tesla CEO Elon Musk is offering to buy Twitter, saying the social media platform he has criticized for not living up to free speech principles needs to be transformed as a private company.

“I invested in Twitter as I believe in its potential to be the platform for free speech around the globe, and I believe free speech is a societal imperative for a functioning democracy,” Musk said in the filing. “However, since making my investment I now realize the company will neither thrive nor serve this societal imperative in its current form. These Uber rich control too much of America already. They are the oligarchs of the USA. He’s floated a subscription fee on Twitter. That ain’t free speech. So I vote “no” on the takeover.

MF could end poverty with his emerald mine money but all the racists in bama are cheering bc maybe he’ll let them say the N word on Twitter. I hate it here.

Yessss free speech and no censorship

When you're super rich and you don't like something, you can just buy it, bury it, and move right along.
