Large parcel of land in Putnam County sold

Westbury River Estates in Putnam County recently sold for $1.8 million, according to NAI Hallmark.

The parcel is a 346-acre plot of agricultural land located at 1747 South State Road 19 in Palatka. NAI Hallmark Vice President of Land & Development Mike Maschmeyer brokered the transaction of behalf of the buyer and seller. NAI Hallmark was not allowed to disclose the buyer yet, but there are no immediate plans to develop the land.

The property is situated between Buckman Lock Road and Camp Road and adjoins the Majorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway at the St. Johns Loop North Trailhead. The Cross Florida Greenway spans Central Florida from the St. Johns River to the Gulf of Mexico, occupying more than 70,000 acres of land in a 110-mile linear park.

“We appreciated the concerted efforts made by all parties to bring this to a mutually satisfactory conclusion for both parties to the transaction” Maschmeyer said in a release."This is the single largest land sale transaction to occur in Putnam County in quite a few years."
