Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Arsenio Balisacan said the Philippine government will pursue policies that will reduce the cost of doing business.

During a press conference in the US, Balisacan said the government will further improve the country’s economic recovery from the COVID-19 through these policies.

Balisacan said the Philippines is well-positioned to capitalize on the reforms that open up the economy to the private sector and foreign investors, and strengthen its macroeconomic fundamentals.
