Dream Finders buys big piece of Apopka mixed-use project

Dream Finders Homes LLC will build 175 homes in what’s likely the Jacksonville-based homebuilder’s first Apopka community.

The deal may be the homebuilder’s first move in the hot Apopka submarket. Dream Finders doesn’t list any active communities in Apopka on its website, and Thorp said he wasn’t aware of any Dream Finders communities built in Apopka in recent years. mixed-use Kelly Park project that calls for hundreds of single-family homes and apartments

The land was sold by Galvin Land Services LLC and Kelly Park Land Investments LLC, both connected to developerOBJDream Finders isn’t the only builder snatching up land in Apopka. Canadian homebuilder Mattamy Homes Corp., which has its U.S. operations headquartered in Orlando, on Sept. 9Mattamy plans to build single-family homes and townhomes on the site, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. The deal is Mattamy’s priciest land purchase in Orange County so far this year, per county records.
