While both businesses managed to escape specific damage to their operations, they will have to close while renovations are complete. My Fair Ladies is a combination of two other businesses – Needle It Rug Hooking Studio and The Bobbin Tree – and sells a variety of craft supplies along with some unique gift ideas.

For nine years, MacDonald has steadily built up a faithful clientele, many of whom have flooded her Facebook account with well wishes for a speedy return. Also of concern, said MacDonald, are her two staff members who have been with her for nine years and are now out of a job.
