South Florida agent says women can succeed in sports biz

During National Businesswomen’s Month, the Jacksonville Women’s Network will host its Speaker’s Forum 2022, which will be Monday at the UNF Adam Herbert Center. This year’s invited speaker is Kristin D. Campbell, a Miami-based attorney and entrepreneur.

Campbell created an agency producing revenue streams for clients and protected those same revenue streams through savvy contract negotiation and asset protection plans. Within its first five years, 40 Sports negotiated over $70 million in active contracts and over $10 million in additional marketing value.

My inspiration for launching 40 Sports was through my community work and network opportunity through a family I had known for years. Their NFL-bound son was being recruited by many large agencies, and they sought my legal counsel. It was during this process that I realized there was a unique opportunity to help athletes protect their professional and personal interests before they even signed their first professional sports contracts.
