It might be quiet influence, vulnerability and empathy. Sometimes, listening is more powerful than bravado. Or perhaps it’s just plain clarity of vision and courage to take risk. The Business Times is proud to present our first Power 100, a list of the most influential people in Bay Area business. Scott Wiener.
Then the fun started. We drafted list after list of the most important business people in our five-county area — San Francisco, San Mateo, Alameda, Contra Costa and Marin. And eventually we settled on our final 100, a subjective effort of the San Francisco Business Times newsroom. As with all our award programs, there was no advertising quid pro quo.
