Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Commissioner Romeo D. Lumagui, Jr. has signed an agreement with nine prominent business and professional organizations in a bid to further improve taxpayers' service.

Lumagui said the partnership aims to elevate taxpayer service and aligns with their mission to transform the BIR into a service-oriented agency, and not only focusing on tax collection efforts.

The nine multi-sectoral partners of the bureau are the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,Tax Management Association of the Philippines , Management Association of the Philippines , Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines, Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Association of Certified Public Accountants in Public Service and Practice, Association of Certified Public Accountants in Commerce and Industry, Philippine Exporters Confederation, Inc.
