— Shares fell 3% after Nordson reported fiscal third-quarter revenue that missed analysts' expectations, and lowered its fiscal year earnings guidance. The adhesive dispensing equipment maker posted revenue of $648.7 million, lower than the $664.9 million expected by analysts polled by FactSet. It issued full-year earnings per share guidance of $8.90 to $9.05, lower than the prior guidance of $8.90 to $9.30, as well as the $9.06 per share consensus estimate on FactSet.

75 billion to 4.85 billion, lower than the $4.86 billion expected by analysts.— The stock gained about 2.4% after earnings beat second-quarter earnings expectations. The home improvement company reported $4.56 earnings per share, greater than the $4.47 expected by analysts polled by FactSet.
