A man has been charged in connection with an armed robbery Sunday at a business in the Lawndale neighborhood.

LawndaleJesse Carter, 32, was accused of stealing property from a retail store around 3 p.m. in the 700 block of South Pulaski Road, according to police.He has a detention hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
