If South Africa could build entrepreneurial mind-sets at universities, it could make a dent in the high unemployment rate. This is the concept behind an innovative project by higher education and training department in collaboration with Universities SA

Her company falls into the innovative business idea category – she has a good idea that could solve a problem and sustain herself but has not been able to pursue it as a business.

The unemployment in SA is orchestrated. The issue of entrepreneurship is just a red herring. People has to first enter the world of work, at entry level jobs, before could even begin to be entrepreneurs. This is being denied to them by monopoly capital. Our government is helpless
