The status quo insists students focus on our studies, and that the problem is too large for us to tackle. It says that young people must wait until graduation to make a difference. The truth is: it would be irresponsible for us to wait. Students must lead where universities fail. The movement will only get stronger and louder after F2D2. It is not a question of whether our movement will win, but when. After Fossil Fuel Divestment Day, students are continuing to escalate on Earth Day and beyond until our demands are met.
