London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index of major blue-chip companies firmed 0.1 per cent to 5,794.24 points. Milan’s FTSE Mib advanced 0.1 per cent to 17,078.50 but Madrid’s IBEX 35 fell 0.3 per cent to 6,854.30 points. “Coronavirus-related developments will continue to remain top of market minds for investors in a busy week ahead,” said Scope Markets analyst James Hughes.
