Opinion: I’d like the game back too. I just don’t get why, of all the industries stopped at the moment, the one to restart first should be the industry with the closest contact of all between its employees | Peter_Fitz

“You can trust us,” they say earnestly, “because the environment is absolutely safe. That safety is built on our players being tested, washing their hands before and afterwards, and our insistence that they must observe the strict guidelines we will put into placeWhich industry, in the country, has the worst track-record when it comes to observing strict guidelines?

I pose that as a serious question. And don’t yell in reply. That doesn’t cut it for debate. Please try for a serious answer if you have one. But I will be fascinated. We are all stopped here at the traffic lights, and we’ve been here for two months. And you really think NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian, out in the intersection, should blow her whistle and point to league to be waved through first while the rest of us stay put?NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian.I hate to point out the bleeding obvious, no really, but you might have noticed some news items in? I noticed them.

but then put it on social media, it hardly fills the public with confidence that these are the guys we can depend upon. Surely you can’t think that unfair? Under the circumstances, I checked on the origin of Addo-Carr’s nickname of “Fox”. Sure enough, it had nothing to do with him being noted for his sly cunning.

So, Gladys, if it is “Thunderbirds are go,” great. Tell us. But also tell us why them and not everyone?Every day you rightfully admonish the rest of us that thisWe just need to know if you are, or aren’t, in favour of the NRL starting again. And if so, please tell us the reasons for rugby league exceptionalism, and why you trust that the players will do the right thing.

Peter_Fitz Well said .

Peter_Fitz Opinion: It should not be allowed to happen. The grand society that has beaten this virus to a pulp should not allow this. If we must allow it for the sake of capitalism, then put them all in an airtight box except for when they are playing and touching each other.

Peter_Fitz The closest contact would actually be rugby union, given all the rucks and mauls (are there still mauls in union) when men are lying over each other for long periods of time. But no one seems interested in restarting union for some reason.

Peter_Fitz Peter_Fitz

Peter_Fitz I think your wife needs the housework done Fitzy...otherwise no pocket money for you

Peter_Fitz you forgot schools ...6 hrs in a room with 25 others

Peter_Fitz Spot on!

Peter_Fitz To be fair if the nrl can do it then world sport as a whole can be confident it’ll be ok!

Peter_Fitz Exactly

Peter_Fitz Welcome to the cause Fitz. You are late, but most welcome. I can't understand how GladysB has let herself get backed into a corner by NRL! V'landys should have been shut (slapped) down the first time he said 'NRL will restart on (insert date)

Peter_Fitz Why is one sport being aloud to restart but not all , and the NRL is full of ego,s so big they think nothing of breaking the rules as seen over the weekend

Peter_Fitz Not very bright is it?

Peter_Fitz I don’t care if Peter Fitzsimmons doesn’t like rugby league, I care he pretends to like the game and constantly gives the game backhanders. He’s a fraud, worse he’s insufferable.

Peter_Fitz I can see your point, they’re filthy and obviously going to spread the pandemic.

Peter_Fitz At least as a pirate you are always going to be near the sea Jump in and breath deeply

Peter_Fitz Straya

Peter_Fitz Is this the image we are putting to the world that this 'industry' is the most important to drive our economy forward? Education, tourism, health, social behaviour all secondary.

Peter_Fitz Keep them accountable Pete

Peter_Fitz Because the boys need to be with each other; to grope, slap, tickle and tug each other 🍆

Peter_Fitz Desperate to get back when sports were semi pro life was easier

Peter_Fitz As Kenty said, fitz has never backed a winning cause

Peter_Fitz So, if NRL starts up again, does that mean the gyms and the pools will be open by then too?

Peter_Fitz The liar strikes again. Does anyone other than his fellow💧hypocrites believe anything the bald tosser says? Who did the prick’s makeup at Channel Nine on Sunday? Who hooked his lapel mic? Has he been tested like NRL will be? He doesn’t want to answer those questions.

Peter_Fitz You obviously follow the NRL very closely

Peter_Fitz Amazing, an anti NRL rant from Fitz!

Peter_Fitz It won’t be first. 🙄

Peter_Fitz What could possibly go wrong

Peter_Fitz Groundhog Fitz needs some new material. His daily bashing of NRL is getting boring.

Peter_Fitz You would like to see the NRL back? 😂😂😂 What utter 🐂💩.

Peter_Fitz Well maybe however it should be small business enterprises & encouragement to go & spend,,I’m thinking of those in shopping centers, along with more money in pockets the Government needs to reduce fees & certain taxes, lose now but gain in the long run.
