U.S. stocks rose Wednesday ahead of comments from Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell and on hopes of progress with a coronavirus treatment

U.S. stocks rose on a busy morning that included a flurry of earnings reports from major American companies and ahead of views from Federal Reserve policy makers on the health of the economy.

Sentiment was also boosted by news from Gilead Sciences that a clinical trial evaluating its drug remdesivir in coronavirus patients had concluded with a positive result. Gilead share rose about 6%.

Simply proving that the current investment and stock strategy in the US is failed. If stocks rise with simple guesses and false promises, it means that the market is falsely propped up and as soon as they realize this was a misstatement or lie, it will go right back down.
