A Chinese construction company, handling ongoing dualisation of llorin-Jebba highway in Kwara, has donated food items worth N1.5 million to residents of Pekee and environs to cushion effect of the lockdown.

Several residents of Pekee and other adjourning villages trooped out enmasse along the dual carriage way under construction to collect the palliatives. Tajudeen disclosed that the friendly nature of Pekee people to the construction company made the donation of the palliative a reality.“This is what we use to tell our people. Wherever the Federal Government is doing project, let us give our support by making the environment conducive for progressive work,’’ he said.
