After US Capitol riots, cable giants face criticism for enabling the spread of misinformation

Fox News' Tucker Carlson

For AT&T and Comcast that own the political news networks CNN and MSNBC, blocking Newsmax, OANN, and Fox News could be seen as anticompetitive. "Network owners and their editorial boards are responsible for the content that they deliver to us," a Dish spokeswoman said. "Provided that the content is legal, we generally do not have the ability to unilaterally edit content or remove channels from our lineup based on their content. Our customers have the flexibility to tune in, remove or block channels and content based on the platform they are using.

CNN lied about Trump/Russia for three years ... Does that qualify as “disinformation”

The funniest thing is who decides what information is Misinformation? Reader or the spreader?

CNN peddles bad news like a duck paddles water....QUACK QUACK CNN.

“misinformation” lol

It’s a scheme, they are simply calling opposing information “disinformation.”

'riots' A few rando jackasses did some illegal shit all on their own and that's that. Misinformation is not the problem. Liberals burning, rioting and looting all 2020 is the problem. Next.

Hope BI goes bankrupt.

If I have my way I will advice you invest in Bitcoin, now Bitcoin is the world biggest cryptocurrency, on here I saw a recommendation of louishudson98 about a profitable cloud bitcoin mining opportunity I gave it a try now I’m up above 300% portfolio thanks to louishudson98

Hey Fox, howd cowering to the establishment work for you?

This is just like how the Nazis got control over the media. It's almost like these so called anti fascists are the real fascists

You're making 'conspiracy theorists' look like prophets 😂

Any word on the Russian collusion Bullshit that was pushed for years?

So CNN, NBC, ABC and CBS are on the hook for nearly four years of pushing the Russia hoax misinformation?

True. They should ban CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, and all other leftis media outlets. Enough of misinformation.

This is a blacklist the likes of which is seen in communist regimes.

Who the real dictators are.

The slippery slope.

Yes, I blame CNN, MSNBC, NYT, WAPO and all other commie state media for telling us that 30 people being killed and cities burned to the ground by BLM were mostly peaceful and any police action taken against them racist. Banned? No. Parks and streets named in their honor? Yes.

Oh horsesh*t

Oh good idea, censor any remaining right of Biden media outlets. That’s not authoritarian and dangerous at all!!

CNN hardest hit

spread of misinformation couldn't be farther from the truth

Remember when CNN talked about the Russian collusion hoax for 4 straight years?

Can we get CNN and NYT de-platformed as well for selling us the Iraq War that has had a ripple effect impacting millions of lives?

Image a cable news company spreading misinformation about something...I wonder in the last 4 years if we ever saw anything like that. How about you take you stupid little article and shove it

How do they know it is misinformation nobody will fucking investigate it!

The riots are disinfo. It was all staged

Oh so you are trying to end opposition completely

CNN and MSNBC spread way more misinformation then right wing. They do more damage in one day then then fox in 10 years

MOCKINGBIRD MEDIA AT IT AGAIN. BURN THIS SHIT TO THE GROUND!

Clickbait journos with an article about misinformation. That's rich.

How about we go after the politicians who deliberately spread the disinformation instead of enabling censorship? 😷 'Here Are The Republicans Who Objected To The Electoral College Count'

Wondering if POTUS is already being courted by alternative TV and radio stations to host his own show. He probably has countless offers. 'Think of the ratings!'

All media should face similar criticism for it, too many have allowed disinformation to spread while happily profiting from it.
