The company dumped the waste on government land at Mukim Plentong, Johor Bahru, last September.

A company providing waste collection service and four individuals were fined between RM12,000 and RM20,000 each by the Sessions Court in Johor Bahru today after they pleaded guilty to illegal dumping of construction and industrial solid waste between July and October last year.

Judge Ahmad Fuad Othman meted out the fine on the company, Sama Mahir Sdn Bhd, represented by its director, Tan Chee Siong, 49, and the four individuals -- Nordin Abdul Said, 39; Tey Chiou Hwai, 44; Chong Wei Lun, 30; and Chen Wei Xuan, 26...
