At least 500 women and youths have been trained on skills acquisition across Toto Local Government Council of Nasarawa State and parts of Kogi as well as the FCT by Maikaya Development Foundation.

The chief executive officer of the foundation, Alhaji Mohammed Umar Maikaya, who disclosed this in an interview with our reporter, said the women and youths were selected across the local government and parts of Kogi and FCT, and trained on tailoring, hairdressing, soap making, tie and dye, among others.He said the desire of the foundation was to enable both women and youths to become self-reliant.
