Filipino foodies have bid farewell to food brands and restaurants, old and upcoming, as they close doors in the past pandemic years. The latest to be included in the list is Rita’s Italian Ice Philippines.

In a recent post, the local branch of the Italian Ice concept expresses it gratitude to customers for the support they have given to the brand since its arrival in 2015.

“We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your patronage and support for the last seven years we’ve been in the Philippines,” it says. “We’re sorry to say that we have reached the end of our journey here, and will be closing our doors permanently on Jan. 15, 2022. Thank you so much for all the memories.”

For its last hurray, the brand is offering a buy-one-take-one promo until its closing date, for Filipinos to savor its beloved “cool treats,” such as the Frozen Custard, Misto Shake, and Italian ice. Currently, the brand is present at UP Town Center and Ayala the 30th malls. Rita’s Italian Ice Philippines is based in Pennsylvania, United States. Since its establishment three decades ago, the brand is able to go internationally, opening stores in China, Canada, and the Philippines. According to its
