But when Black sees a billboard of the two men front and centre, with Tegridy boasting that “sales are going nuts right now,” Black gets upset about being used to make money for the company with any real intent to advance equity. Marsh tries to buy Black’s participation with a wad of cash said to be from the profits of the new advertising. Fed up with the charade, Black responds by opening up his own 100 per cent, Black-owned cannabis company called Credigree Weed right across the street from Tegridy Farms, to Marsh’s dismay and anger.
