July 19, 2022, 4:05 AMPeople help clean up bottles of beer that fell off a truck as the driver made a sharp turn in Chuncheon, South Korea, June 29, 2022.Thousands of beer bottles cascading off a five-ton container truck seems like a disaster. But average citizens who came to the rescue are earning praise across South Korea for making the best of a bad situation.
Moments later, a passerby approached the driver and started to pile the crates up on one side. The owner of a local convenience store then brought brooms and dustpans and joined the effort. "We wanted to find the citizens and express our gratitude to each of them in person," Joo-hwan Baek, associate public relations director of Oriental Brewery Company, told ABC News. "We also hoped to spread the word of the good they did. It was very inspiring for us as well.
WoleOluyemiCo Nigerians start phone recording, traffic movement stopped, thugs take over the show, and police helpless. The truck may remain there for two days or more. We need to be re-orientated in this part of the world!
Aquí solo se roban lo que pueden y dejan lo demás 🤷♂️
Anybody drinking ?😆👍
Meanwhile this is not possible case in North Korea. Because there is no trucks (with beer)
Seems like someone needs to higher better drivers and tech them how to secure the loads. Then that wouldn’t have ever happened. Nice to see the community pull together like that.
The end of the world is nigh.
America used to be this way.
That’s when you park it, and resign.
Different story in the states. Looters would checked for 'survivors' or anything of value and then scurry back into the shadows.
Taking “one for the road” a little too seriously…
