'getting greedy'? Maybe getting greedier

As an MTG player since '95, I appreciate this article and the pressure Hasbro are getting. Releases are just too frequent, the product has feathered out into too many sub-products. I hope they turn it around and make Magic pure again.

I miss the days of blocks + 2 expansions and $15 precon theme decks for casual play. Now it's $60 Commander decks and $40 Challenger decks once a year. It's becoming cost prohibitive for new players to pick it up.

Can we pretty please stop using “slammed” in these titles?

The crossover sets and secret lair stuff is 'cool looking' but it doesn't belong anywhere but your shelf. Collector sets that are not designed for actual sanctioned play aren't worth the cost.

I stopped buying cards when they started this. Doctor Who crossover though? THAT I might have to come back for.
