The changes are being brought in to help workers as the cost of living crisis continues as families struggle to make ends meet

Workers across Ireland are due to see six changes that will mean a boost in earnings in January 2023.

For people involved in the Community Employment , Tús or Rural Social Scheme, they will see their pay increase by €5 from €22.50 to €27.50. This means that it will be €40,000 for a single person and €49,000 for married couples with one earner.Another change workers will see is to the 2% Universal Social Charge , with the ceiling increasing from €21,295 to €22,920.
