Gas companies are neo-liberal dinosaurs. But evolve when you can get your gas out of Australia for decades at a lot less than it costs to get it out of Qatar or Norway. Bowenchris spenderallegra zdaniel auspol nitv

This disaster is on the sh*tful LNP who have been cooking this disaster up for 9 years.

The price gouging non Australian companies that we receive no real revenue off or benefit from? Those ones? 🤔

That is a good thing

78% tax in Qatar, tell them to go there. Time these os energy companies were brought to heal or banned from exporting.

I dare the gov to tell me or put me in a position of whether I use gas or electricity. The gas companies should be furious! Maybe next time they won’t vote labor!!

Hope it’s not one of the companies our Super funds have been invested in. Nothing worse than taking it both ways.

I reckon they probably wouldn’t do that, wouldn’t they? Because the new Labor government is threatening their profiteering, price gouging cartels who have previously being able to rip Australians off for their own gas and oil. Who really cares with gas companies say? At this rare moment one of the few entities I would trust LESS than SKYNews would be the gas & coal companies...

Gas company insiders accusing government of ‘plotting’ sector overhaul in secretSky News Political Reporter Joel Philp says gas company insiders are accusing the federal government of “plotting” an overhaul within its sector in secret, as companies consider the impact of a cap on fossil fuel prices. “Today, some major gas producers have come out swinging, saying that these interventions will actually make the situation worse,” he said. of course is backing the mostly overseas owned gas companies that have been ripping us off for years! It’s our gas and we should benefit, not just overseas shareholders If Australian Politicians adhered to our Constitution Sect 51 & Chapter 4 in finance & Trade we (the people) perhaps would not be suffering this kind of corrupt corporate behavior on our (the peoples) resources.
