The Labor government “cannot believe” the Coalition is opposing the $15 billion National Reconstruction Fund and “annoy” business and manufacturing, says Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell.

The government is still confident it can win the support of Greens and crossbenchers to pass the legislation through the Senate, as the Greens have requested coal and gas projects be removed from qualification for the Fund in return for their support.

Energy Minister Chris Bowen’s ‘Safeguard Mechanism’ legislation which seeks to install a carbon credit scheme is set to be a “bit trickier” for Labor however as the Greens request coal and gas projects be exempt as well.

The only thing we believe is that Sky News pushed the poison jab! Just like all the other fake news outlets and fake governments!

It’s odd that the coalition is opposing a bill they originally introduced - just shows how shallow the leftovers really are

The Labor Government has all the experts creating Disasters at every turn !.

they're just spending on policies that don't work economically or politically. albo is just a tip of the iceberg

The devil is in the details … and the Liberals are struggling to get their msg out, or even formulate a msg. If they can’t stand up to Labor and it’s two-faced lies they will become an unwelcome partner with the Nats, who at least understand what’s going on.

I can't believe that AustralianLabor would imagine Australia falling for School Halls Mark II.

From The people of Australia. The coalition is full of low life people .Voted in by other low life people. Fancy opposing $15 billion National Reconstruction Fund . The liberal depth and capacity for frauds seem to be bottomless . Bad for Dutton reflection on himself .

Sounds like another expensive scheme.

Good! Why do we need another “fund” How will it be used? Is there any detail for this proposal?

Why don’t they mount these solar panels another meter higher so sheep can come along, graze underneath them, I know there wont be as much grass as before the solar panels, but if the sheep 🐑 can graze what grass grows, it will save having to mow it Make double use or the land.
