Mathieu Flamini now runs a biochemistry company and lifestyle business with Mesut Ozil

. “Having left for Arsenal at 19, I now speak English as well as French and I run a biochemistry company!”Now CEO of GF Biochemicals, he still found the time to team up with ex-Arsenal teammate Mesut Ozil to launch Unity Performance Lab.

But despite being somebody who was perennially injured throughout his playing career, Flamini is not a man who lost any time. “I not only want but need to spend myself. I train at least five times a week. If you look for me after 7pm, you’re likely to find me running in Hyde Park, London, where I live, or, more recently, doing yoga. Flamini loves nature and is often seen out explore the world with family and friends

Forbes recently put his net worth at $10.8billion, which would make him one of the richest footballers in history, although he insists reports of billionaire status are wide of the mark.Either way, Flamini is making a concrete, tangible difference to the world as an ex-footballer.
