Strong balance sheets in particular can help businesses endure turbulent times, since companies aren't forced to issue — and eventually pay back — a lot of high-cost debt.

He continued:"That comparative and competitive advantage associated with low or no-cost funding is going to result in tremendous opportunities for both absolute and relative value creation.", one of his fund's top holdings, as a self-funded company with permanent access to low or no-cost capital, since it currently has about $130 billion in its balance sheet and generates $30 billion in cash flow each year.
