ESKOM LIVE | Lower stages of load shedding planned for the weekend

Eskom has announced that lower stages of load shedding will be implemented at the weekend owing to lower demand.

Board member Claudelle von Eck says that De Ruyter mentioned an investigation, but there was no indication that it was an external investigation. Makwana -"why are we Mr De Ruyter's spokesperson?" - asks how the board could get him to talk when Scopa couldn't get him to do the same thing.Makwana says De Ruyter did not play within the realm of good governance. Whether there are delays - that is law enforcement's role.

He says he never received a comprehensive report about when De Ruyter found a device under his car seat, or when he was poisoned. Hadebe is still asking about the board's fiduciary duty to know what was in the report. 10 May 12:33
