A brand-new, temporary store fit out will be created at the front of the store while it is closed for refurbishment

H&M's Market Street store has temporarily closed its doors ahead of a major refurbishment. The retailer has confirmed that the Manchester store will be closed for five months while it undergoes an 'amazing rebuild and transformation', enhancing the existing offer for Manchester shoppers.

During the refurbishment, customers will also be able to use H&M's Click & Collect service, a dedicated online activation area and bespoke members offers and benefits. From September until the store's reopening in November, the shopping area will be once again revamped into a new customer offering which will be revealed closer to the time.

Last April, the clothing company, which is based out of Sweden, reopened its Trafford Centre store following a huge transformation encompassing a brand new homeware section and a extensive number of self-checkout tills. With Greater Manchester shoppers buying the most H&M homeware outside of London, the retail giant decided to introduce its own home section in its Trafford Centre store.
