Olivarez said the BPLO recorded a total of 20,569 registered businesses on May 31 this year which showed that more business owners want to do business in the city. He said the Anti-Red Tape Authority commended the BPLO as the first local government unit that pioneered the Electronic Business One-Stop Shop program in promoting ease of doing business.
The mayor said the BPLO pioneered the streamlining and simplification of business permit and licensing procedures through the implementation of E-BOSS.
