Binance becomes a sponsor on FC Rapid’s football kit today, and the company’s logo and name will appear on the back of the jerseys. The renewal of the partnership with the football club marks a year of an increased company’s impact in Romania, which began with the opening of offices in the country, continued with trading pairs in the local currency, and unique NFTs dedicated to Romanian sports and music.

Rapid, together with Binance, launched a successful collection of free NFTs at the end of the previous football season, from May 2nd to June 30th. Supporters had the chance to win signed jerseys, scarves, VIP seats at Rapid’s matches, and even cryptocurrencies. This was a significant step towards bringing the benefits of Web3 closer to Romanian football fans.
