KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 13 — MyEG Services Bhd today denied misrepresenting their online services after they were called out in Parliament by Kota Melaka MP Khoo Poay Tiong yesterday.

“The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to clarify there is and has been no misrepresentation by MyEG in the services available on its online platform and that all services continue to be provided in accordance with the terms and conditions stipulated by the government of Malaysia. Yesterday, Khoo accused MyEG of collecting money for foreign worker permit renewals when in actuality the company had been suspended from conducting business since February of this year.

At Immigration, they were told that MyEG’s services were suspended and when they tried to get a refund from MyEG, the company refused and would only do so once they had shown proof of renewal with the Immigration Department.
