Minorities and disabled people not protected from high overdraft charges, says former FCA board member

Vulnerable members of society, including ethnic minorities and people with disabilities, are being discriminated against by banks, a former board member of the Financial Conduct Authority has said.

Come on! Has it ever been any different? There are whole industries created to skin the poor and vulnerable: the PayDay loans etc.

What a ridiculous story. Banks rip ALL of us off. It's just that we are smartening up at different speeds.

Wow! That’s before Brexit “deal or no deal” discrimination against poor sick & disabled has been going on for years!

I love it when the analysis is decades behind reality. It really deals with the issue.

This sounds like an issue with minorities having low income, rather than banks discriminating against minorities. Of course those with lower income are more likely to use unarranged overdrafts.
